sars 7 Posted January 12, 2013 Mine is definitely here. In fact, I've even 'gained' a pound and a half. This sucks! I loved that momentum of daily weight loss. I'm down 24lbs and haven't lost since Mon or Tues. What about you?
MichiganChic 3,262 Posted January 12, 2013 Same here. I was sleeved 12/19/12, and I've gained a pound since Monday. First no loss, then .2 or .4 gain each day. I really did love losing something everyday - it was so encouraging. I figure this, too, shall pass. We can't not lose weight eating 500-600 calories a day! I have been giving this some thought, and it makes me glad I had the sleeve. Before, I might have gotten similar results while dieting, but after a couple of weeks with no loss, I would revert to bad eating habits. Now I'm forced to stay with it for the long haul, and I am confident the weight will continue to come off.
Traci J. 207 Posted January 12, 2013 You should only weigh once a week, then you won't notice those little stalls. You should also take your measurements, because when you're not losing weight you're probably losing inches....your body has to catch up to! I had lost 7" in 12 days, will be doing them again plus taking new pics next Wed. at 4 weeks out to better see the changes my body is making. Good luck to you both...don't fret about the stalls...it's all part of the process.
Melissad 7 Posted January 12, 2013 I was sleeved 12/17 and have been stalled for the passed 2 weeks. It's extremely fustrating. It's seems common though so I'm just waiting for it to pass.
monaie 6 Posted January 12, 2013 I was sleeved on 12/19 and when I went to post op visit didn't loose anything! But I started my cycle two days after surgery. The following week I got a URI. This week I am not a 100% but I got on the scale and I had lost 4 pounds so exciting. Wish I had list 20+ pounds but I haven't yet. This past week was my first time in the gym. Plus the mental aspect is harder than the actual surgery.
doreen70 268 Posted January 12, 2013 Hit the brick wall doing 60mph!! Total loss at my 3 week visit, 23lbs. My doc advised against daily weighing, but said if I could handle seeing the scale move up to feel free. I've lost ad gained the same 1.5 lbs all week.
