Pasta lovers? Low carb lasagna roll-ups

Recommended Posts

Tofu lasagna noodles (different, but an acceptable substitute, and very low cal!)

2 1/2 cups Marinara sauce

Filling:

1 cup Shredded chicken (cooked)

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

1 cup Mozzarella cheese

1 pint Ricotta cheese

10 oz Frozen Spinach (thawed and squeezed to remove moisture)

1 egg

Mix all the filling ingredients together. Spoon 1/4 - 1/2 cup on the end of each noodle, roll up, place in baking dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.

Pour marinara sauce over the top. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.

This would probably be great with delicious pesto sauce if the marinara upsets your stomach.

Most stores carry Dreamfields. You can go online to their website and print a $1.00 coupon.

They have speghetti, angel hair, elbow, ziti, lasagna, and a few other types. Also online are some great recipe ideas.

Where do you find Tofu lasagna noodles?

Different grocery stores carry different types, but I find it in the veggie section near the bean sprouts. If you have an Asian market you might have better luck.

We used Dreamfield Pasta when losing on the South Beach Diet. Very yummy, and no one could tell the difference.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
