I am down 70 lb's....I am having a harder time seeing it too BUT I FEEL FABULOUS. Sitting in any chair I want' date=' pulling pants on that I am positive are not going over my butt, but they DO!

Thanks for posting your weight loss on a topic, all the kudos on the replys are fun, my friends have been treating me like a new puppy, all the attention.....I have not been this weight in 23 years, I even forgot my original body shape.

Keep up the good work, We are in this together.[/quote']

Funny you say that...I write a blog (you welcome to read it...http://sleevesister.blogspot.com) and my last one I wrote some things I can do now that I couldn't before. One is wipe my...oh nevermind I won't go there! Lol but, I also like that I can sit in a booth without question. The hospital that I had my surgery has a clothing closet for their bariatric patients. Me being the cheap skate I am...I cleaned out my next 3 sizes. All my clothes that I used to wear no linger fit. I still haven't bought a bra but desperately need to! I was a 44, now I'm a 38...my cups need cups! Lol

Thanks for the encouragement!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
