jrw2scw 4 Posted January 11, 2013 Just removed some of my stitches on my incision sites and had problem with two of the wound sites opening up, no blood just made me a little whoozie to say the least..We cleaned the wound, used hydrogen peroxide, no bubbles/issues. I've not had it happen but I'm surprised you removed your own. My doctor took my staples out 2 days post op and put steri strips on. No problems. I would say if there is no blood you are ok. That means there were no open capillaries. Keep the strips on for as long as you can.
