Marquel 31 Posted January 10, 2013 I watched a documentary on Netflix called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead". The guy does juicing only + Water for 60 days and lost over 80 lbs. It is a great film. The nutrients are absorbed better with this method. I think juicing has tons of benefits and we could add Protein Powder as well. Anyone have good or bad thoughts on this. And how would I add it to my fitness pal?
KickRocks 163 Posted January 10, 2013 I watched that documentary! It was very interesting. I even went out and bought a juicer and used it a good 3 days smh lol!! I agree tho I think juicing has some great benefits . I just couldn't do it as long has they did. Sent from my iPhone using VST
ozeedonkee 145 Posted January 10, 2013 I watched this a while back and I've been juicing ever since. I do the same as he did. I find it is particularly good if I'm due to eat but really don't want to. The juice fills me up. I don't know how to add it to myfitnesspal as I don't track. gmanbat 5,889 Posted January 10, 2013 We have a juicer but when we had big stomachs we found the amount of veggies and fruit we had to juice to get any appreciable amount was cost prohibitive. Now that wife and I have tiny tummies we are looking to take it up again. Juicing is a low volume way to get Vitamins and the other elements of veggies in. The only thing left out is Fiber which we can get other ways. But the clean-up is a bear. Waaaa.
Lomew Bartho 0 Posted January 10, 2013 Hey Friends If you are new to juicing, I suggest a mid-priced juice extractor. The cheap centrifugal juice machines break easily, produce low quality juice, and are very noisy, which may give rise to hearing problems. They also don't last very long. Thanks a lot!!
