Update

Still having back pain, I was able to see the specialist on Monday. She told me during surgery muscles in my back were sprained . Starting therapy on Friday. The next month should be interesting.

I am feeling kinda of down because I can't workout and I feel like I am not loosing weight . I have not been weighed since my last appointment on 12/19. I have my next appointment tomorrow morning.

Finding app has been the best thing for me. To know other people are In my shoes. Before this site I had reached out to a friend h who had the surgery last March and he wouldn't talk to me about the procedure. O well bless you all and I hope we all have success.

i can understand you being disappointed about not being able to exercise, but OMG - you have back pains/problems - don't push exercise now - you don't want to hurt yourself anymore

I'm glad that "YOU" are glad you found this board

Pt is going good he told me I have a lot of back spasms, but I am still hopeful. I have loss 32lbs in a month and I know once I can get back in the gym I will lose more weight by June 1st I want to have lost 75- 80lbs. I am going to my friends maid of honor so I am hoping to reach my goal.
