NancyB 6 Posted January 9, 2013 Well, I work with a bunch or ladies that are very clicky and judgmental. I am often left out or looked over because I am quiet and probably overweight. I am eager to find out how the ladies treat me once I am thinner. Deep down I hope they treat me the same, because it would be very sad to think they don't like me because I am heavy. Has anyone else noticed that people treat you different after weight loss?
SunnyCox 245 Posted January 9, 2013 People do treat you better when you are closer to a normal weight. It is one of the unfair facts of life. Don't forget, that you will change with your surgery too. You may find some extra confidence and be more outgoing with your coworkers. I am much more likely to go out to eat with everyone know that I don't feel so bad about myself or feel like I am being judged for being the fat girl. delta_girl 931 Posted January 9, 2013 You are changing more than others. Maybe their behavior is a direct result of how you are expressing the changes taking place within you, as well as the physical changes taking place in your body.
