wendella1975 1 Posted January 9, 2013 I am having weird dreams where I am eating and all of a sudden it hits me that I'm not suppose to so I spit it all out. icon23 273 Posted January 11, 2013 I just had one of those dreams (just woke up from a nap) and my surgery is a week from today. I am not sure if it's because I've been on the pre-op diet faithfully for a week and I'm subconsciously missing food or if it's pre-surgery anxiety. I didn't spit the food out in my dream and, in fact, I kept eating more. The part of my brain that was trying to wake up was horrified, but I was incredibly calm about it in my dream (although I did have a thought that I had basically undone a lot of hard work). 12345 80 Posted January 11, 2013 I had a dream like that a couple of days after surgery. I dreamt that I had eaten a huge meal and lots of soda. I woke up in a panic thinking I had really eaten all that....and hurt myself in the process. I was still on the liquid pain medicine so I was having all kinds of long, weird dreams.
