SueSue 12 Posted January 8, 2013 I haven't exercised properly for at least 12 years so am in need of some advice please. I was sleeved 31 October so am about 10 weeks post op. This week I've started riding my bike (done about 15km in 3 days) and walk/jog using the C25K app. I know I need to incorporate weights into my exercise routine and I would really appreciate some advice on how to work on my "bat-wing" arms (the floppy bit that hangs down when I extend my arms out to the side...) :-) 1 kmwheel reacted to this
Imabeskinny 31 Posted January 8, 2013 I would recommend getting a personal trainer for a month. S/he will show you proper form, motivate you, and teach you some exercises to help tighten your arms. Trainers can be affordable, if you are upfront with them on pricing. I pay about $8/session. If that isn't an option, there are a lot of instructional weight things on Pinterest. LindaS 316 Posted January 8, 2013 I met with a personal trainer once, and she gave me a huge pile of things I can do to work out at home. She was great. One cool thing is that a consultation with her was part of my surgery costs/coverage.
