Huntingnurse 510 Posted January 7, 2013 I started the preop diet at 303 (cant call it a liquid diet because i didnt stick to the liquid diet - did more of a restricted calorie diet). I did it for a week and lost 6lbs before surgery. I went into surgery one week ago at 297 and weighed for the first time yesterday EVENING at 285. Thats 18lbs in about two weeks - 12 of it in 6 days. I was quite shocked! But stoked none the less! 7 thesmilos, Pookeyism, jrabbit81 and 4 others reacted to this

clk 3,519 Posted January 7, 2013 Oh men. You boys lose so much more quickly and it causes women everywhere to pull out their hair! Congrats on your loss! It's a big achievement in a short time. Enjoy this window where it all falls off; hopefully it will continue for you. Men tend to lose faster than women and they respond especially well to the low carb diet that you're almost assuredly on right now. Enjoy the new sleeve, and stay positive! ~Cheri
