yale88 25 Posted January 7, 2013 I was sleeved Jan 2nd. I am doing fine thank God. No N/V. The gas is the hardest part to deal with. I had the call 4 days before my surgery but my Dr. Didn t cancel it . I have pain getting up from bed and the coughing at night time down t help. Overall I am doing great. I had very little gas pain... yes.... the coughing and soreness was tough but I think I stayed ahead of it with the pain meds... I am one month out and losing slowly... I have transitioned to solid foods but I am keeping them on the soft side...even though this is one of the hardest things I've ever done, I don't regret it... and I am looking forward to the gradual transformation.
