Woodys 0 Posted November 3, 2006 Mine isn't so interesting. Woodys is the name of our restaurant (from our last name which is Woodward).....we seem to use this name, or a derivitive (sp) thereof, for all of our "LOGINS"...we even use the same password for EVERYTHING....even our bank cards...this way, we'll never forget....LOL Carol
Yoda 0 Posted November 3, 2006 Hiya Katgirl....welcome. Hi also ~C~; you've been a member for awhile but I don't recall seeing you in the Canuck corner...(or I'm losing my mind!). So, welcome! Ottawa is one of my hometowns (went to high school there and still have family there).
Lila 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Lila is my stage name from my stripper days. I travelled the northern circuit I hope none of you have been to any of my shows!!! Just kidding!!!!:biggrin1: :biggrin1: really it's a nickname my sister called when I was a teenager. she knew a girl named lila who she thought was a big loser (no, not in the weight lose area) and she thought i was too. So she called the same name. I think she forgot why she called me that but I never did. She sometime still calls me that but now more as an endearment. Dame J 0 Posted November 16, 2006 I tell ya, there are a ton of just nosey people on this forum! Don't worry I am too. I have been lurking on this site for a couple weeks now but have only recently registered since making the decision to Band. The name I use on here is nothing special. Dame because I would like to be knighted and I don't think the Queen will be doing that anytime soon so I might as well do it myself. And J because my real name starts with a J. As for where I am from... I come from Toronto about 30 - 40 min from the good Dr. who will hopefully band me.

weenette 0 Posted November 21, 2006 Well, my user name has a pretty corny beginning. When I met my husband, his hobby was (and still is) working/playing on computers. I started calling him the "computer weenie" :nerd: . Then I asked him to show me how to "tune up" my own computer (seriously, I really wanted to know how to work on a computer! It wasn't -just- a ploy to get closer to him...honest! ). Well, when he had passed on enough information that I could seriously damage other people's computers we decided that I needed a name, but I couldn't be a "weenie" too, so I became "weenette". angel bear 2 Posted November 27, 2006 I loved the Jeffersons and Wheezy was one of my favorite people! My handle came as a gift from a dear friend. I shared her journey with colon cancer and a few months before she died, she gave me a gund bear - with golden angel wings. She told me that a golden angel bear was a symbol of my gardian angel - and she gave me my e-mail address and this handle. I had a teenager (son) whose all grown up and doing very well on his own and now a teenage daughter (what a difference!). I have one more coming up and not due for another few years (thankfully I only have to survive one at a time!) Roxanne
