christy38 17 Posted January 5, 2013 How do you guys feel about exercise after surgery?
COnative 192 Posted January 5, 2013 LOVE IT! But I think that is in part because I have been exercising since I was 13. But I have had three abdominal surgeries and exercising seemed to help me heal faster and feel better in general! Granted I don't go crazy the week of or the week after surgery. In fact, I kind of take it easier on the cardio machines up to a month after surgery then I go crazy. But with that said, I still listen to my body. Meaning, if I am exhausted I won't push it or sometimes I will just take the day off from exercise. Exercise really helps with the loose skin! Wish it would get rid of the stretch marks though! danyelleb 386 Posted January 6, 2013 I would like to say its a MUST, but there are sleevers out there who don't. I enjoy doing it and I find myself pushing myself because I am capable of so much. It's so much easier because I don't weigh as much. In short, I highly recommend it! Sent from my iPhone using VST 1 Fiddleman reacted to this
fluffylibra30 323 Posted January 6, 2013 I feel you go through this to feel better and be healthier inside and out. There are so many added benefits to working out besides losing weight. The main being Heart health. Why would you go through the surgery not to be at your best? Exercise helps that.
