What have you done to lose so much so quick? I was about the same size you were and I'm no where close to that. Your pictures motivate me! Please share your secret! <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />. How old are you if you don't mind me asking.

I've just been trying to eat the right foods, I admit I've cheated here & there , mostly on Thanksgiving & Christmas , but now I'm back on track. I started the gym 6 weeks after surgery, just doing cardio. It's not easy getting use to eating this way, but your pretty much forced to , your stomach will let you know , trust me. Just remember , No Sugar, No Greasy Foods, No Carbonated drinks. I've had stalls for 2 wks , which sucked , but I'm breaking that now, starting my purée stage all over again , just for a week . I am 38 yrs old. You will succeed in your weight loss, believe me, I get discouraged too when I see other pics of those who lost more than me, in the same amount of time. But we all lose at different times. Don't give up, it will happen :)

Keep me posted

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
