Boofster 159 Posted January 4, 2013 Today I wore pants that I haven't worn in YEARS (yes, I save everything). I tried them on a few weeks ago and they were a little tight...so I put them back in the closet thinking ok, I'll try them in a couple weeks. Well today I put them on and they were big...almost sloppy...I was amazed!! I wore them to work but they probably won't be worn again. Squeal!! 8 mel2643, Catherine Shinn Habhab, COnative and 5 others reacted to this

gmanbat 5,889 Posted January 4, 2013 I am wearing jeans with no belt. No beachball belly pushing my pants down. Hip bones actually doing the job. The exception is the jean shorts I put on this morning. I bought them a few months ago and now they are too big, needed a belt. Another month and they will be displayed at the Goodwill. 5 Boofster, Free2BMe002, kim12398 and 2 others reacted to this
ashelaine 383 Posted January 4, 2013 I started 7 weeks ago in a tight 20- should have been a 22. Tuesday- I tried on a pair of 14's and they fit! Now mind you- they didn't look great- but they were on and zipped with NO muffin top! My ex husband actually asked if I had lost weight (this is the same man who didn't notice when I chopped 9 inches off of my hair). Good times! 4 Free2BMe002, Boofster, Catherine Shinn Habhab and 1 other reacted to this
susanfaye 162 Posted January 4, 2013 I was able to actually run on the treadmill yesterday. And at an incline! I havnt actually ran in over two years. I also didnt get terrible cramps in my calves, which is why I stopped running to begin with. Progress! 3 Free2BMe002, gmanbat and Catherine Shinn Habhab reacted to this
BANANA PANTS! 60 Posted January 4, 2013 I'm only 3.5 weeks out - but today I wore a suit jacket to work! I had not worn one in a long time because they fit so tight. Also - the shirt I wore under it is going in the goodwill bag when I get home (my first donation since surgery)! Also - I no longer have to raise the steering wheel in the car to get in and out! WOO HOO!!! 3 Catherine Shinn Habhab, Free2BMe002 and gmanbat reacted to this
dar1983 751 Posted January 5, 2013 *Having NO slacks left to wear to work (all too big!) *Crossing my legs. Comfortably..without going numb *Fitting into an XL sports tank (formerly wore a 22/24 top) *I made so many new holes in my belts, I had to get rid of them altogether! There are more NSVs, and I cherish each one. 3 Free2BMe002, Catherine Shinn Habhab and gmanbat reacted to this

gingerRN 81 Posted January 5, 2013 Going back to work and having lots of energy!!! Cleaning out my closet of 24's and 22's and giving to people who need them. Saving a ton of money on food!!! Getting my EOB from insurance and seeing they actually paid for what they said they would!!! 3 Boofster, susanfaye and Catherine Shinn Habhab reacted to this
gmanbat 5,889 Posted January 5, 2013 Getting my EOB from insurance and seeing they actually paid for what they said they would!!! That's a big one, GingerRN. My insurance company paid for my operation but refused to pay for the anesthetic, over $3,000. Something about the anesthesiologists didn't put down the right code numbers. I could get noone to help me, no way to contact the rubes at the hospital.. They fought me for many months but finally paid. Then I had to prove to the doofus anesthesiologists that they did pay, they kept billing me.
Brandywine 74 Posted January 5, 2013 I zipped up a pair of tall boots over jeans!!!! And this week got into a pair of 14 slim Gap jeans I wore pre children! Yay! 3 susanfaye, gmanbat and Boofster reacted to this
Susmcmur 124 Posted January 5, 2013 I went to renew my drivers license today and asked the clerk to change my weight listed to my current weight. She called her coworker over and they wanted to know how I had lost 80 pounds and if I would recommend WLS. When I reach my goal, I may just go back and get a new license, but this is my weight today and I worked hard to get there and I'm proud of it. Also, I put on a new pair of Ann Taylor 12 Petite black jeans today that have been in my closet as inspiration and aspiration for the past month. They not only fit...I needed to wear a skinny belt! 5 Catherine Shinn Habhab, Boofster, mel2643 and 2 others reacted to this
stellabug321 51 Posted January 5, 2013 I went shopping today for some new scrubs to wear to work, have been off for over a year! My 3x scrubs no longer fit! I squealed with delight when I could squeeze myself into an xl shirt and pants! That's something I have not done since I was in my teens:) so so happy, I can't wait to go back to work looking amazing! 3 Catherine Shinn Habhab, Boofster and gmanbat reacted to this
