Beckyyb93 225 Posted January 4, 2013 I went to my doctor today and meant to ask him about this but there was other stuff going on and it slipped my mind. When I drink anything it feels there is a huge amount of air in my tummy and it hurts really bad. I drink out of Water bottles without straws so I don't know what's causing all the air. Maybe I'm drinking wrong? I've always drank the same way but now it causes so much air pain, I try to burp and can't and it's just no fun. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, is there a way to fix it?
johnlatte 1,232 Posted January 4, 2013 Drinking out of a water bottle is a lot like drinking out of a straw. There's a lot of air moving through. I had to give up straws and small neck Water bottles. Regular cups, Tervis cups with a bigger opening all seem to be fine. Can't gulp, got to sip. Sometimes I forget and take a big gulp of something and man does that smart
Beckyyb93 225 Posted January 10, 2013 For anyone else experiencing this, I figured out what was causing it. I was eating and drinking too close together so I guess was too full to be drinking causing pain. Now I drink 45 minutes after I eat and am fine
