indian 22 Posted January 13, 2013 I tried "Optimum Nutrition" Platinum Hydro whey - Turbo Choclate flavour. It is quick dissolving, non gritty, no after taste. Lovely taste. But a bit too sweet for me. But otherwise very good. Very expensive. However no PDCAAS rating though !
O.T.R. sleever 3,386 Posted January 13, 2013 Whey in general has a PDCAAS score of 1.000 , the best score possible.
CBT 450 Posted January 13, 2013 You should try...About Time Protein powder' date=' you can get it a GNC. It has 25g of Protein, 103 calories - no artificial sugars, no artificial flavors, no grow hormones, gluten free, zero carbs, zero fat. It is 100% Whey protein isolate, which I hear is supposed to be good for us. Did I mention it taste great?!?! I use it in my smoothies, that include kale/collard greens and pineapples with the "About Time" Protein powder added, it's like a pina colada. You can also mix it with Water in a Blender Bottle. I paid 30 for a 2lb container. I hope this helps.[/quote'] Letty1 what's your recipe for smoothie with greens? I gotta get me my greens!!!
pamypsoup 11 Posted January 13, 2013 My favorite powder Protein is Body Fortress whey Protein Isolate vanilla creme....My favorite RTD is premier Protein shakes in chocolate. Kristy Giovanelli 4 Posted January 14, 2013 I'm a little scared, because a lot of you said nectar is great, well I'm going to have my surgery soon, and I was trying a last ditch diet!! But anyway I learned I really don't like the taste of Protein Shakes, I mean I put frozen berries in, almond milk, ice and it still tastes awful. If I don't like this is there any that I could possibly like, do I have to drink Protein shakes after having this surgery.
Ridinboots 0 Posted January 14, 2013 My favorite RTD is VPX Protein Rush but it is a little pricey. I had surgery 6 weeks ago and over the past few weeks my tastes have changed and I couldn't stand the taste of my Protein Powder anymore no matter what I did to it. I went to GNC and they recommended Amplify because the taste was different than most powders. I got the chocolate to try and its awesome, no aftertaste. I made a good shake (my husband tried for the 1st time ever and he liked it) Syntrax nectar carribean cooler with pineapple and banana and coconut Water (it called for coconut milk) tasted just like a pina coloda minus alcohol lol 1 InMyNext30Years! reacted to this
