kpaige77 49 Posted January 3, 2013 i have the same problem. i just got the clear today to go to pureed, came home and blended up 1 slice of peach from a can of sliced peaches in Water and 1/2c 1%cottage cheese. i figured i could eat 1/2 of it. 2 small bites in and i am stuffed. i wonder if this gets better over time or if maybe my sleeve is too tight and i'll just have to live with it! kimbernada 190 Posted January 3, 2013 why did you have a drain in?? Some surgeons (or facilities) leave a drain in for the first couple of weeks after surgery. (I didn't have one.) 1 mandyMO reacted to this

ReduceReuseRecycle-Me! 119 Posted January 4, 2013 why did you have a drain in?? Sorry, I'm not the OP but I just had my drain taken out yesterday after 6 days. They have a tube inserted into the area outside the newly formed sleeve to capture and remove any excess fluids that may come from the staple line. I still had some fluids coming out of the tube when the doc removed it. He was not concerned.
