bluesuit3 0 Posted January 3, 2013 I am scared I am eating to much. Should I go back to measuring? Yikes! Each person is different it's hard to say how much you should be eating at 4 months. The best answer is if you feel full stop. I know for me i was sleeved in 2011 and some days i can eat more and some day i eat less. Its never the same amount for me. SleeveShelly 75 Posted January 3, 2013 I was sleeved 9/12. I haven't measured my food for awhile but I would say I'm eating sometimes up to 1 cup or a little more.
TheNewSusie 471 Posted January 3, 2013 I definitely measure everything, almost 6 months out and I weigh and measure it all.
SleeveShelly 75 Posted January 3, 2013 Sweetsusie. How much do you weigh or measure? Is it supposed to be so many oz?
ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted January 3, 2013 I am scared I am eating to much. Should I go back to measuring? SleeveShelly per NUT, i measured, volume portions all the time - 1/3 cup - 2/3 cup ie at 4 months po i think you should have never stopped measuring your food - its too early, and many people continue to measure - then you won't accidentally over eat - larger portion - and digest too many calories there i things that i frequently eat, like home made chili - i use my baby bowl - i know exactly how much i am supposed to eat, so in other words i don't measure any more there are foods that i can guesstimate but at one year post op - (not always) but i still do measure 2 Strangefruit and COnative reacted to this
TheNewSusie 471 Posted January 3, 2013 Sweetsusie. How much do you weigh or measure? Is it supposed to be so many oz? I measure out 4 ounces of solid Proteins and veggies I don't measure because I barely eat a few bites. I have a scale to measure raw meats. I measure before I cook them.
