Diabetes recheck with my PCP

I'm only one week out (today) and SHE TOOK ME OFF ALL MY DIABETES MEDS!!! This is the best NSV I have ever had. I can't even tell you how thrilled I am. She's not yet ready to say I don't have diabetes, but she said since I will be losing weight, when I come back for my next recheck in three months, she wouldn't be surprised if we could start saying that I have a history of diabetes, rather than saying I have type II diabetes!

I told her, even if I never lost another pound, this surgery was worth it, just for this!
