SaraLaughs 23 Posted January 3, 2013 Make you put on weight? Hubby asked me that after I told him that sweets like cakes and Cookies are "slider" foods. I don't have an answer. Can one of you please explain it?
traceyc 89 Posted January 3, 2013 It slides out of the stomach so you don't stay full and you can eat more. It will still go through the intestines where you will be processing and absorbing the calories. At least that is my understanding. 1 Ms skinniness reacted to this
Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted January 3, 2013 LOL too funny! that would be great but the food still makes it's way through your body which in turn absorbs the calories from it.
delta_girl 931 Posted January 3, 2013 Slider foods slide through restriction so you don't feel very full when eating them. These are usually very fattening or highly processed foods such as ice cream and crackers. That they slide through easily has nothing to do with the number of calories they contain.
