Steeler....I feel the same way...like I havent had a lot of guidance. I constantly feel like Ive done something wrong. and Water also makes me nauseous. but I was told about water nausea from someone else. I drink a lot of tea. im basically living off of it. I too have lost 30 lbs since my sleeve on 11/7 but feel like it should be more. Ive been stuck at my current weight for 2 weeks or so now' date=' I have absolutely NO energy and cant take those vitamins...they make me SICK. and trying to get to the restroom in time at work can be a chore. Im just so frustrated and tired still. i havent exercised in a couple weeks but i do still go on my walks at work twice a day. Oh lord....what to do.[/quote']

When ever I feel Yucky..I know I need to eat some protein..I found unflavored Protein and I mix that in my tea with unflavored Creamer and spenda is yummy..only way I can get extra protein..try gummy vitamins. Those are good for me. I notice if I sleep too late on weekends..and miss meals I get yucky..so I never miss a meal even if it r

Tea with protein..I wish he told me more..but I think 30 pounds in 7 weeks is pretty good..for you because I beleove you are a lot smaller than me. I hope you doing well..mauve we. Can exchange numbers..?..take care

I too was suffering from bad nausea...then I remembered my doctor had prescribed me anti nausea Meds one is called phenergan. I took 10 ml of that and 15minutes later I was nausea free and able to get my liquids in. Please if you are suffering from nausea get back to the doctor and have him prescribe you something for it. I would not suggest phenergan if you need to drive it has a sedative affect. But get something please no need to suffer.

I got a nausea pill too but I was still naseous when I take it. like i said...i drink a lot of tea, with splenda. seems to sit better on my tummy. and its all zero calorie. I still have a hard time eating too. My throat still feels like its closing. and when i eat i guess my stop notification is my gurggling belly & throat. i know other people can hear it too...its loud. lol

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
