nevrenson 0 Posted October 31, 2006 Good morning, I was banded also on OCT 25, feeling pretty good, but I know what you are saying I get that also , it does go away after a few seconds, not when I drink more on it's own. Where did you get your surgery ? Good luck Nellie:help:
jackal1209 1 Posted October 31, 2006 Everybody is different, and I really hate to say "thats normal" but do think its to be expected. After all you just had a foreign object implanted there, and there will be some discomfort, and swelling in that area. I do recall having the same issue, and thinking "Oh my god, is this normal, am I going to experience this from now on?" Mine went away after about three months, and as time passes, life gets better, especially when you start seeing the results. Also remember as with "change" comes a little discomfort, but the end justifies the means. Sorry, I'm not trying to preach, but life is good for me, and I thank god every single day for guiding me to this. 15 months post op. at goal 200 pounds lost Starting BMI of 54, now 24. alicat3924 0 Posted November 10, 2006 My doctor prescribed NEXIUM for that "feeling" perhaps you should ask your doctor, it has gone away since i started taking it.
