SkinnyJeans 5 Posted January 3, 2013 I had my surgery in early September. Incisions have healed and all pain pretty much went away around beginning of October. Went on a business trip, and sat on an airplane longer than expected wearing jeans that were still digging in a little around my waist around the largest incision site. Since then, the muscle underneath has been constantly hurting. Everytime I sneeze or move around in bed or get up from the couch, the muscle in that are hurts. Not a horrible pain, but an uncomfortableness. Is this normal? I have heard that sometimes the internal stitching can take longer to heal sometimes and am wondering if this is the case? Am thinking I need to talk to my PCP soon if it doesn't get any better. But has anyone else had internal incision pain months after their surgery??
Traci J. 207 Posted January 3, 2013 Maybe the pressure of the jeans caused a pinch of a hernia, I'd check for lumps and go see your Dr. 1 xavtay2 reacted to this
