Okay, so I usually don't rant and rave about anything, but I am at a stall and HOT about it! This morning I weighed myself and actually caught my self looking at the scale with a horribly mean look (yea, that changed the numbers)

Ok so granted, I grazed a little during the holidays and ate some stuff I shouldn't but, I lost the little weight I put on in two days. Hey what's the friggin deal here? I am 77 days out and down 44 pounds. I feel like it should be SO much more. I started this journey at 306.4 and am just on the verge of the 250's and I need to see it!!!!!

Help! Encouragment needed Sleeve Family!

Im unsure what your exact situation is but let me share. I had the same problem. I lost about 20 pounds up front and then it stalled. Until i found out that i dont use the bathrooom nearly enough. So i started to take a stool softener. I went from 251 to 247 during one movement. (sorry for the tmi) So that might be something to think about if you arent regular as well as working out. Im sure it will get better. Keep your head up!

I am in the three week stall for two weeks now. I understand the frustration but what can we do. I am not eating too much and I am haveing out put if you know what I mean.

I started today with the suggestion to eat every three hours to help the metabolism. Making sure I am getting my fluids and staying active.

So like you I can only sit mad cause I went through all this and nothing is working!

Date of surgery 277

2 week check up 257

Today 260

Very hard not to feel like it is not going to happen for me.

Well, average weight loss per month is about 10-13 pounds, so it looks like you are above average on losing the pounds. I would not be disappointed by any means. Patience! Lol

You've lost .57 lbs a day average which is great! Stalls happen (for me a lot) and they suck but your skin & stuff is adjusting during that and as long as you are drinking Water and eating mostly Protein you will lose. I started at 310 the first week of May, 285 on surgery day 5/25, and this morning was 188.6. 8 full months, 121.4 down.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
