kikitrixie 9 Posted January 2, 2013 Ok! So it's been 5 days since surgery 12/27..I had only been able to do crystal light, ice pops and Water sparingly..today I finally had chicken broth! I will begin adding protein-although whey Protein gets me nauseous-someone recommended Soy protein. I finally able to tolerate more oz of liquids at a time. Jell-o was not even going down! Stocked my shelves with oatmeal and yogurt ready for Wednesday. I'm not seeing the scale go down though...however even if I hold a large item it tells me same weight. Go figure! Lol I'm thinking its best to wait for my doc apt for that?! I'm going to go nuts though unless I see that scale move. I keep thinking this WILL work it can't right??? Annie B 89 Posted January 2, 2013 At my 1 week post op visit last week, their scale showed a weight loss of 19 pounds. My scale showed a weight loss of 12 pounds. I'm trying to only weigh myself twice a week so I don't go crazy on those days nothing happens. It will work if we do our part. You are, so it will work!
