kpaige77 49 Posted January 11, 2013 Are you still on an all liquid diet? Also - yellow can be a sign of gallbladder issues. Do u have any symptoms of gallbladder attacks/issues? Mason 122 Posted January 11, 2013 I'm at 29 days post-op and still taking Imodium for diarrhea every day to two days. My surgeon doesn't seem very concerned about it. He had me submit a stool sample that came back normal (no bacteria or other pathology). He said that many patients suffer from diarrhea for as many as 30 days after surgery. thepick4u 8 Posted January 15, 2013 My diarrhea was the color of the broth or power ade zero that I drank while on liquids. I finally got it stopped about week three out on it's own. Doctor didn't want me to use too much Imodium in case it caused Constipation later. So I didn't but I have to take pain meds for other issues and I'm not going #2 at all.
