Weight as of this morning 313

Weight lost so far 48 lbs.

Holy cow! That's amazing! Keep up the good work. But make sure you're getting your Protein so you don't lose muscle mass. More muscle means more weight loss. :-)

Sleeved 12/11 down 28 lbs. Still cant drink Water straight. Using ocean spray cranberry-pomegranate single serving pouches in 16.9 oz bottled water. sometimes only use 1/2 pouch. Better than crystal lite.

12/5, down 20 and counting. Just broke my first stall, which lasted 3 weeks. I add the Soda Stream Water flavoring. Just a few drops, sugar free. It really helps get it down.

Yes I know how you feel I went on a stall too and went on liquids for 2 days it help break my stall if you as me lol I went back to food 2 days ago and since lost a few pounds like it woke my body back up! I don't recommend going back on liquids but it seem like it worked for me. I was back and forth from 230-231 and it was annoying me now I am 228 i stepped on the scale 4 times today to make sure lol

I've had so little trouble eating solids that I probably went overboard. I'm back to focusing on Protein and Water, with veggies and a little fruit. It seems to be working. I don't think there's a one size fits all diet, we all have to find what we can live with and still be successful. If I have to give up my potatoes, then I have to be able to eat salad! LOL

For the Water, think of 64 ounces as 5 12 ounce glasses a day - 3 before or after meals, and one to sip on at night and all day.

I hate to say this, but I am a little relieved others are stalled. I have images of being someone who could make the tiny stomach they left me with grow to ungodly sizes in 2 weeks and completely losing another ounce.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
