Alabamasleever 58 Posted December 31, 2012 I am 2 weeks out. I lost 20lbs the first week, then 2 more but have stopped moving for the last few days. Now, I am freezing cold all the time. I feel like I'm shivering on the inside. I have always been very hot natured but I now have an electric blanket on my bed and my family is sweating! I would normally think low Iron but only 2 weeks out? And no fever, thyroid is fine. Anyone else experienced this?
gloriann 43 Posted December 31, 2012 I do...I always have a sweater on and a blanket next to me at work if needed. Small inconvenience to go through post-op. Still loving my sleeve. Maybe we'll warm up a little down the road! Good luck!

ayyejaycee 15 Posted December 31, 2012 I'm cold 24/7! My bloodwork is fine but I'm still cold. I sleep with three blankets long pants long shirts husband socks husbands robe and sometimes gloves. During the day I keep two layers of clothing on and a blanket near by.
misstiffsue 62 Posted December 31, 2012 I was sleeved September 24th and still haven't warmed up! It is a good excuse to buy some cute new sweaters. But in all seriousness it is completely normal and I would suggest layering all of your clothes.

jusstice 103 Posted December 31, 2012 I was always cold before, now I am downright freezing. My hands and feet are always ice cold (my nose too). I just dress in layers, fleece, etc, at work and at home. I have comfy Uggs for house shoes to stay warm at hpme. I wear half-gloves things called wristies at work in case the hands are too cold at work. I get I am an advantage since I was always wearing a sweater (even in summer) before, so it is not tht much of an adjustment.
