neekoal 37 Posted December 31, 2012 Mine was done together, Dr told me up front it may take a little longer as he had to undo all the band garbage but no need for 2 surgeries. HopeFaith 15 Posted January 12, 2013 I was banded on 12/21/10, on 12/28/12 the band was removed and the sleeve done. No removal of Fluid prior (finding the port was like 'Marco polo'). I'm two weeks out and getting better everyday. Good Luck! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SoCalDixieGal 172 Posted January 14, 2013 Much depends on if you have complications from the band as well as how long you've had the band. I'm hoping to do mine in one step (had it a bit over 5 years so fingers crossed). I have had the fill removed and have to go on a liquid diet for 2 weeks prior.
