Butterflysecrets 20 Posted December 31, 2012 Not sure what to think. I am able to eat alot ( I feel like) than what I should at 7 weeks post-op. I eat three meals a day and can eat an egg for Breakfast, tostada with small amount if retried Beans for lunch and then dinner feels like I'm eating more than I should. Is this normal? I feel hungry too. So confused.
sandygo 30 Posted December 31, 2012 I too feel like I'm eating too much! I guess that explains my very slow weight loss lol :-( so sad. I was sleeve nov 13th and I've lost 18 pounds.
Alamoloser 70 Posted December 31, 2012 Try drinking a glass of low fat milk 20 minutes before eating. The slight heaviness may limit your intake.
bayareanan 24 Posted December 31, 2012 I had the same problem after having a sleeve after a band. A year later and I only lost 18lbs. I just had a plication over my sleeve and can finally et the small meal I expected. I am 3 weeks out and have not lost what imhoped for but I know I will be fine. Ola Tess 21 Posted December 31, 2012 That doesn't sound like too much. It sounds like normal portion. I didn't eat that little before surgery -1 egg for breakfast? But now I do. I eat a scrambled egg w chz or boiled egg for bfast. A little cottage chz a few hrs later. For lunch tuna/ chicken about 1/4 c Mabye a couple crackers and 1/2 cup or less for dinner. My problem is I do not drink enough. I know the weight would come off faster of I drank plus I'm impatient but I'm glad I can eat a somewhat " normal" portion just gotta be patient. Good luck;) 1 xavtay2 reacted to this

Sadlers1999 169 Posted January 3, 2013 I too feel like I'm eating too much! I guess that explains my very slow weight loss lol :-( so sad. I was sleeve nov 13th and I've lost 18 pounds. I just got weighed for the first time officially post surgery. At 2weeks,2 days, I only lost 7 lbs. you were sleeved almost a month before me, so I think our trajectories are similar. Sigh...I am able to eat 600-800 calories a day...no reprucussions.
