DUBrookie03 142 Posted December 31, 2012 Ok so this may be completely unrelated to my sleeve, but I'm 6 days post op and today I have not been able to stop yawning. I'm talking like 20+ times an hour off and on all day. It's almost like I just can't get enough air. Anyone else experienced anything like this??
lessofmeismore 1,405 Posted December 31, 2012 Are you stressed? Are you taking your Vitamins? Your body has been thru heck...a major organ has been severed... It could be telling you to rest a bit more. Congrats on your surgery!
DUBrookie03 142 Posted December 31, 2012 Yes stressed, live next to crazy neighbors and today they threatened my life and I had to call the police. Haven't yet started my Vitamins b/c I didn't have the chewable ones yet and the regular ones were way too big to swallow. I bought chewable vitamins today and so I am just starting that. Just thought it was weird it's lasted all day. Just feel like I can't breathe deep enough. I'm going to use my incentive spirometer as i'm laying in bed and see if that helps any. Thanks
lessofmeismore 1,405 Posted December 31, 2012 Oh no! That would stress you out for sure!! I hope it gets resolved Yes, start your chewable vitamins especially with all the added stress from your neighbors. Your hearts not racing is it? You feel okay otherwise? Definitely do your spirometer. It's worth the hassle. You don't want pneumonia. 1 DUBrookie03 reacted to this
Mell 38 Posted December 31, 2012 I had the exact same thing. Part of it is anxiety, but mostly it was my low Iron. I starting taking iron and Vitamin C together (helps the iron absorb) and it went away. Try it, it'll go away! 1 DUBrookie03 reacted to this
