I know he can't have it now' date=' but any idea when (or if) he can have it again?[/quote'] When I'm craving orange juice, I like the crystal lite orange flavored. It seems to do the trick. Orange juice just has way too many empty calories for me. Plus the acidity can be hard on a healing tummy. I wouldn't say he can never have it again... Just maybe a couple of months down the road. And taking the calories into his daily allotment.

As far as maybe substituting, the crystal light orange is my favorite! I freeze it to make it a little slushy and it gives me an orange "juice" fix. Have a great evening. delta_girl 931 Posted December 31, 2012 I don't know what his doctor says but I could have it right after surgery. Diluted, of course. I like the low acid, low pulp variety.
lsereno 2,525 Posted December 31, 2012 I can drink it now and have been able to for quite a while. I drank it fairly early, mixed with Water because acidic foods bothered my sleeve for the first few months. I also drank crystal light lemonade with way more Water than you would normally use. One of the reasons that it's not on plan is because it's better to get fruit whole instead of juiced. But mixed with water it's fairly low cal. Lynda
