danyelleb 386 Posted December 30, 2012 I completed my first trail run yesterday! Oh my goodness, I am so sore today. The neat thing is my upper body is just as sore as my legs if not more! I completed a half marathon with an elevation change of 2,000+ feet. It was steep and muddy. I had to climb over several fallen trees. The scenery was amazing. All in all a freaking exciting adventure! I had no clue of how intense these runs are. The entire run was a challenge like no other. I have been considering doing a tough mudder this summer- HA! Who am I kidding?! I need to do several more trail runs like this and not feel like I'm going to die at the end. Lol! I highly recommend a trail run to spice up the running. My profile pic is me post race with my medal. The photo attached is pre-race. 3 Butterthebean, Banned member and FatFreeMe reacted to this

chitowngirl 886 Posted December 31, 2012 Awesome!!! Keep up the good work. I personally went skiing yesterday for the first time ever. I made a complete ass of myself, but I loved every minute of it, and can't wait to do it again. I would have never done this 92 lbs ago. It is the little things like this that make the sleeve so worth it. Keep on truckin you will get to that tough mudder sooner than you know it. 1 danyelleb reacted to this

Looking good! I've never been skiing. I was asked to consider snow boarding. I so agree about the weight loss and the sleeve assisting me in becoming WAY more active than I've ever been. IT is worth it. Congrats on the 92 pound loss too! Sent from my iPhone using VST
