Nora. 11 Posted December 30, 2012 Hi all! I am 6 weeks post op and am having serious troubles with the chewable viatmins. They taste terrible and I don't know how much longer I can handle it. Does anyone know when I can start taking Vitamin pills? I am allowed to take my meds in pills form, but I wasn't sure about the Vitamins.< /p> Thanks for your help!! 1 Brandywine reacted to this
Joy0125 95 Posted December 30, 2012 Nora-I feel your pain on the chewables. I actually vomited for the first time today within 2 minutes of my Calcium chewables. I took them too fast to get it over and done with and paid for it. I'm going back to the Gummy version I had pre-op and just chewing like crazy. But you might want to try that route if you can't do pills.< /p> 1 mandyMO reacted to this

TheGamer 406 Posted December 30, 2012 I tried and tried to deal with the Bariatric Advantage chewables but the taste just made me gag. Tried Centrum and they were also vile. I eventually gave up and bought gummy vitamins

As soon as I could eat regular food I went back to my regular Vitamins and didn't have a bit of trouble. And mind you, I take 6 solid Vitamin pills. Good luck. If anything I would try one and see? Story of my life. I've bought like 15 cases to try. And at least 5 kinds of unflavored whey Protein. Yuckyuckyuck. 1 COnative reacted to this
