excited and nervous

I recieved my surgery date. We are still waiting to see if my insurance will cover. My company recently changed carriers, i will have Anthem the first of the year.

My daughter had the lap band surgery last year under our previous carrier (I tried but was denied).

Im excited for the changes to come but nervous the insurance will deny again.

Welcome! I'm new here too. I'm going through a mandatory 12 week program that my insurance requires before granting the approval for bariatric surgery. I'm looking at late Spring/early Summer for being sleeved.
