Yoda 0 Posted November 30, 2006 No nibblin'? That is awesome Roxanne....GREAT NSV....well done!!! Yeah, Xmas parties.....ours is next week (potluck); I'm bringing Nanaimo Bars....I think I"ll be okay....as I'm too paranoid that something bad will happen if I'm "bad" in public!! Aaaaaah, the shame of fear! Works everytime! I think it might be "tougher" and a little more obvious (that I'm avoiding stuff) when I go to the "at home" thing though (you know what I'm referring to, Roxanne!)....so wish me luck! That is next week as well.

DeltaDawn 0 Posted December 4, 2006 HI guys, I just wanted to update you on my Christmas goal. Well, I was hoping to lose 12 lbs and get to 220. Well, my ticker will tell you. I weighed in this morning and 220 it is. I was writing in in my journal and wrote 320.. opps... guess I am still not used to the number 2 as a starter. Also, I went shopping in Quebec City and bought a sweater at a regular store!!! It is an extra large and probably a big one at that... but it was really exciting. Thanks for all the support everyone!! Dawn Banded April 4th 2006 (Montreal) Fill June 9th 2006

CLOE 0 Posted December 4, 2006 Good luck Nancy. Now to get thru the Office/Christmas parties. Suggestions??? Have a little piece of your favourite thing ( it is Christmas ), then stick a wad of gum in your mouth!
DeltaDawn 0 Posted December 4, 2006 I think I will try for 215 by Christmas... but I have a feeling I won't make it. I have two more business trips before then and it is harder when I am away and eating a restaurants all the time!!! CLOE 0 Posted December 6, 2006 I'm pretty happy with my progress so far, but I'm not sure I can do the last pounds in 3 weeks. I have been really good staying away from Christmas goodies, but I'm not sure how much longer I can last. The closer to Christmas the more treats get shoved in your face. Tis the season:) .
