You have to buy it in stores like GNC & Vitamin Shoppe, or online; luckyvitamin.com is the cheapest i've seen, and they ship pretty fast too. Vitamin shoppe tends to have lower prices than GNC.

Ok thanks. I'll be going tomorrow. Any recommendations on best flavors?

I like the Alpine Punch. The grape isn't bad. I wasn't crazy about the orange or blue raspberry. I haven't tried the others yet.

Unfortunately I haven't tried Isopure powder, have not been willing to buy it because they don't offer samples. I do know that Syntrax Nectar has a Double Stuffed Cookie that is awesome with soy milk.

Yes, and my favorite flavor so far is the melon which is green. It's pretty good for being filled with Protein.< /p>

My only complaint is it leaves kind of an odd taste/feeling in your mouth after you drink it. It's great for you if you can get it down though.

Yes,

I also tried Isopure grape. it was nice. Trying out Protein supplements before I'm sleeved. Trying to be prepared.

Good luck

Do be careful with this, your taste buds definitely change. I can't tolerate some of the stuff now that was great before I was sleeved. Good luck!

I tried each flavor after surgery and I found one I can drink on a daily basis. (The green one). Everyone is different so try them all and see if you can tolerate any. Did I say I love it? No but I find it easier to drink Clear Liquids early on than thick shakes.< /p>

Alpine punch and I think passion fruit are my favorite. nectar makes a fantastic powder that's called Fuzzy Naval that s really thin and tastes like orange juice. Tried most of the other nectar a with no luck on yummy ones. BJs bariatric carries sample packs of nectar. Good luck on finding one that works for you.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
