Yeah I have the same issues... What I do is take a laxative once a week....

Oh thank God I have not been constipated. I was able to go like the 3rd day I left the hospital but once I started with puree food it kind of made me a little constipated. As sometimes I buy Gerber baby food I found this prune gerber and that helped a lot!

my dr said to use MIRILAX ....it puts Fluid in your colon and makes it easier to poop!!!!almost resorted to getting some on the 3rd day .......and i went !!........its sold in a white bottle with a purple lid !

I mix powdered Fiber in with my Protein Shakes and haven't had any problems since. My butt used to BLEED from my poop being so hard and larger but now I poop 1-2 times a day since I started adding fiber. I've had Constipation issues before surgery, so surgery just made it even worse. I use "Equate brand fiber powder". You can add it to anything.

Thank you Winky. I will try that. I started taking fiber-con pills, but they worked for one day. I dread going because of the hassle but I will try the powder. Thanks....
