It's basically tupperware with compartments. Lots to choose from. I pulled this from google images.

I would strongly recommend packing a lunch box with good healthy items. There are tons of healthy Protein rich Snacks out there such as fat free Greek yogurt with fruit. Fruit cups no sugar added,... Use myfitnesspal to track your daily intake. This will open your eyes to what you are doing and how it will impact your weight. It's all about you! Don't let all temptations take you off track

Whats a bento box?

This is the one I have:

http://secure.laptop...2-BERRY&eq=&Tp=

I've been using it for a year now and it has held up perfectly. It's also about $20 cheaper now. Like I said, this is perfect for Breakfast, lunch and a snack. I will fill one of the larger containers with some kind of meat, the other large one will hold a salad or vegetables. The smaller container will hold a serving of Greek yogurt with a bit of sliced almonds and the other small one will hold a serving of cheese. If I want crackers with the cheese I will throw in a ziplock with about 6 small crackers that I get from Trader Joes that are high Fiber and high Protein like their rosemary raisin crisps or 12 grain crackers. The tiny 2 tbs container will hold dressing or dip if I want it.

I change things out. If I want to up my Protein I will fill one larger container with meat and the other with shrimp and put my veggies in the smaller one in place of the cheese.

Bento boxes are fun and keep you honest ;-)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
