Loosing my hair but I can see my feet

Recommended Posts

Almost 4 months out and the hair has started to fall out. I completely freaked out yesterday in the shower. The only good thing was I looked down and didn't see my belly I saw my FEET.. I hope this doesn't last long. I've been taking pics of my hair line since the begining I will put the new ones up as soon as I upload them.

Oh I can relate!!! :)

I'm so worried, I just had two emergency surgeries just when I hoped my Hair loss would cease.

According to my nutritionist its going under anesthesia that cause the hair loss months later. :(

I hope I do not start losing again.

I'll be for months on the 5th. we have almost the same numbers. I started at 242 but you are loosing faster than me. I'm at 206 now. I'm 5'6". I tried hard but the hair thing is happening. I do have a lot so hopefully I will be the only one to really notice.

I lost sooo much. Cut it all off several months ago (very short) in a do that made it look much fuller. hair is thickening out again, growing really fast (I think the trick there is I never stopped eating my Jello, in addition to multi Vitamins and Water, etc)...I have decided to keep the do for now.

One thing that is interesting, I heard of a girl that had a scalp transplant - no s---!

Cut the scalp in a t-formation tightened scalp , and redeposited the hair from the t-section to fill in fore-line and either side of her natural part...BUT I CANT FIND PICS!!!! grrrrrr!!!!

I've cut mine as well. I think I'm keeping it until my hair stops falling out. I hoped at 7 months it would be stopping.

I may need a scalp transplant! Yikes!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
