nancyc 0 Posted October 28, 2006 It is almost November, which will be always known to me as the month of the BIG change. I start my pre-op diet on the 15th and have surgery on the 29th. Any advice to get through the pre-op diet is welcome! I would really like to hear from any and all Canadians who are being banded in November and December. There don't seem to be many newbies on the Canadian thread. I look forward to hearing from anyone!! I also hope to get lots of support from everyone out there, as I have been afraid to tell anyone what I am doing. I have only told hubby, kids and one sister. I don't feel like trying to justify myself or my expenditure to anyone. I know I am worth it and that is what is important.

argon 3 Posted October 28, 2006 Hey Nancy, congrats on your date! Dr. Cobourn, right? I'm sure there are some other Nov/Dec newbies around here in the Canadian area. Maybe lurkers? There's plenty of other people who are fairly new anyways (banded in the last couple months), and more will come along too... so no worries.

CLOE 0 Posted October 30, 2006 Plan on checking in every day once you start your pre-op. It really helps to get extra support during that time. It's not horrible, but some days can be rough!!! Good Luck!!
