cramping pain continues one week out

I am having cramping pain that comes in waves and last for just a few seconds. I called my dr. because I thought it was post laparo

scopy gas and i wanted to know how long it would last. She said it is not gas, but swelling, and I would have for a few more days. When it comes, sometimes several times an hour, it is very miserable. Has anyone else had this type of pain? What made it better and how long did it last. Otherwise I feel really good.

I get it in my back, directly across from my staples, and usually after walking for a few minutes. I just sit it out. I've wondered if I can go back to taking OTC pain killers, so I can zap it with Aleve, but my Dr is on vacay...

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...
