lucky8mb1 167 Posted December 22, 2012 I was self-pay for my surgery and just got a bill for surgical pathology dated for the day of my surgery. Of course it's Saturday so I may not be able to get a better explanation from the doctor for a couple of days. Just wondering if anyone else had some sort of pathology related to their surgery, and if so - why? Thanks!
PEvette 297 Posted December 22, 2012 Yes, everytime something is removed from your body, gallbladder, gallstones, part of your stomach, tissue, etc.....your doctor sends it to pathology to get tested...I too got a bill 1 month after my procedure... If you were self pay you have to pay for it, if your insurance covered your surgery, you need to send the bill to them
Ballermom 803 Posted December 23, 2012 It's good to know. That would have puzzled me too.
