Christina760 161 Posted December 20, 2012 I'm 6 weeks out n sleep is still not good. I used to sleep well. But, it's better than it was 3 weeks ago
MaryDrew 41 Posted December 20, 2012 I'm 2 1/2 weeks out and not sleeping great either. I was just like you. My family always said I was like a cat I liked to sleep so much. Maybe it's that "new" energy they say we're supposed to get? I don't know but I don't feel energetic--just tired.
Catherine Shinn Habhab 97 Posted December 20, 2012 what a coincidence...I was just telling a friend today that I don't sleep as early as I used to. In the evenings I sit by the fire, natural tranquilizer normally, but not anymore!
Rootman 1,101 Posted December 20, 2012 I'm over two years out and sleeping a lot worse than I used too. After I hit puberty I have had bad insomnia issues, since being sleeved they are worse. I was tossing and turning till 12:30 last night, got up and stayed up till 3:45 then went back to bed only to wake up about 5am. I've tried a few sleep pills, Ambian and Lunesta but they only help you fall asleep, not keep you asleep or make you sleep. Sucks.
bakawaka 59 Posted December 20, 2012 After gastric bypass I am not able to sleep through the night - even Ambien does not help other than to help me initially fall aslerp

RivaRat 0 Posted December 21, 2012 Yes I have had the same issue! I was sleeved on 12/11. I spoke with my surgeon about it on my 1 week post op appt. He said I was the second one that week complaining of sleep issues. He told me to try melatonin. It helped a little but I'm still restless. I hope by the time I go back to work I'm sleeping better.
