Geminidrive 389 Posted December 19, 2012 A few others have posted about being cold. I have found that I'm cold also, and I asked my physician about it. He said that they (the bariactric medical community) does not have an answer as to why some patients are cold, but told me to purchase a fleece because I will probably get good use out of it. Tinka504 46 Posted December 19, 2012 I'm going to go out on a limb and say its because you are not as "well insulated" as you used to be. I think it has to do with the change in our skin as well. With that being said, I FREEZE! I always have a jacket or a sweater handy, and have learned to lightly layer my clothing, so that I dont look like a tard with my hands in my shirt ; 1 Dark Ranger reacted to this
jen1211 203 Posted December 19, 2012 I'm only a week out and I am freezing all the time! I used to always make my hubby turn down the temp and now I'm begging him to turn it up! lol I even wore a thick robe over sweats and a long sleeve shirt today (thermostat at 72)! 1 Dark Ranger reacted to this
joyful noise 101 Posted December 19, 2012 I am also cold, but it is way better than power surges (hot flashes).

Fiddleman 4,376 Posted December 20, 2012 I am always cold. Wish I knew why. Hope it gets better in time. I don't think it does as I still freeze daily at almost 6 months. One of the 1-3 years vets might have a better answer.
