Don't worry about them. Chances are they don't even read & write 1 language fluently, much less 2.

Chiki, I want to sincerely apologize to you. My comment was completely out of line and not a good representative of my character. I was bullied all of my life and I should have known better. I had a momentary lapse in judgement and let my mouth speak before I thought it through. Again, I am very sorry for being so rude and incompassionate. I wish you luck in your journey. Happy holidays!

You can't do a sleeve over a sleeve . What I had done was a gastric placation. Basically the fold the stomach like an accordion and don't actually cut the stomach.

I don't think they do it in the US yet. I had it done in Mexico.

are losing more with that one, i never heared that was possible.. if i do not lose any more weight by may , 2013, i am planing the DS. they dont do it un US..

I like to hear more about that one, if you fon mind . what is the average cost of that one and who perfomed you surgery in MX???

I am coming into this a little late, but for those who aren't familiar with what a DS is, it's a Duodenal Switch - this is what can be done after a sleeve to add malabsorption to the equation if restriction alone isn't working.

As for advice for the OP, I am so sorry that I don't have any, as I am pre-sleeve and have never had any WLS. I would agree with those who suggest eating your Protein first and eliminating the simple carbs, such as bread, Pasta, sugars, etc.

I wish you the best and hope you get it figured out!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
