sars 7 Posted December 19, 2012 This is the first time I've even been on my phone. Surgery was Monday around 1pm and then I spent 3-4 hours in recovery vomitting. Finally got to my room around 8pm Monday night. I have never been in so much pain. I've been walking as much as possible, standing up or laying down is what is most comfortable. Otherwise, horrible heartburn. Just started 30cc every half hour of Glucerna & that takes much better than Water.< /p> I'll probably go home tonight or in the AM. Praying I begin to heal faster, I just want to sleep! How's everyone else?

Ms.Cali 56 Posted December 19, 2012 Sorry to hear - I was like you. The first day/night were the worse. Dr had to give me stronger meds and the anti nausea meds were gods send. Don't be shy to ask for meds - it will help you relax and get some sleep. Keep hydrated and do the walking.
