*Dean* 1,594 Posted December 23, 2012 PS - this thread is going to cost me money. These things look great - but $700+ down here in Australia!
maalleh 7 Posted December 24, 2012 There are a couple other options. One is the Blendtec, a little more expensive, smaller footprint on your countertop, and a little more powerful than the Vitamix, blendtec.com. The other is the Nutribullet much smaller. I see infomercials on it all the time. Says it emulsifies but I don't have first hand experience with it. Have friends that have it and they love it, but they are not sleevers. nutribullet.com I am anxiously awaiting the time when I can add blended vegetable drinks. I am only one week post op today so have another couple weeks to wait. Shalom.
ArcusX 216 Posted December 24, 2012 I watched a documentary on Netflix called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead," where the guy goes on a 100% liquid diet for 30 days. I think he juiced everything. He gets into the cost at the end. Gets a little spendy...
lessofmeismore 1,405 Posted December 24, 2012 Oh I'm going to save for one! Thank you, BB It is expensive but our health is worth every penny. I self paid for this surgery so I will spend more to keep myself healthy. It's a must! I didn't get a chance to read the entire thread...Judy, are you going to invest in one? I'm mainly doing it now because of my recent health issues but this will help me so much. Hugs to you all!!!!
amytug 996 Posted December 24, 2012 I love my blendtec! I was able to get the designer series. I don't use it often though. Maybe I'll use it more post op. 1 lessofmeismore reacted to this
maalleh 7 Posted December 24, 2012 If you would rather purchase the Vitamix on payments you can check qvc.com. Often they offer the VM for 4 to 5 monthly payments, You only need a credit card to purchase and they bill you for those months. That way you can purchase it interest free if you don't have the cash. 1 lessofmeismore reacted to this

Letty1 33 Posted December 25, 2012 Judy, I am going to get one after the first of the year and start making green shakes every day. I need more veggies and that's the only way I'm going to take them in. I received the Nutribullet for my birthday last Tuesday. I love it, I make green smoothies all the time, and they are great. I believe the Nutribullet is $100. It was a great gift and I have been blasting every day since, I am happy I am getting in my vegetable and other versions of Protein including, flaxseed, maca, goji berries, ground up almonds. I'm even more excited about the amount of Fiber. I considered buying the vitamix, QVC and others raved about it, but for now my NutriBullet is kicking butt. Blasting kale, collard, berries, pears, bananas, apples, and grapes - did I mention it taste great. My kids 15 and 16 year old love my concoctions.
