Hello from Texas!

Just found out last night that I am going in for the surgery on Nov 1st! My doctor is Dr. Spivak in Houston. I am excited and a little nervous too. I have about 50-60 lbs to lose. I am a little concerned about cravings and the bad habits with food that got me to this point in the first place. :nervous Any words of wisdom would be appreciated!

Hello Everyone,

I finally made the decision to do something about the 60 lbs extra pounds I've been carrying around for years. My surgery is going to be on Nov 21 with Dr. Rambaut in Monterrey Mexico. Like everyone else who is new at this, I'm worried that I may be one of those person for whom the band does not work, but I've got to go forward and do this once and for all. I'll be joining the November group.
